Marta and I started to walk local long-distance paths in June 2011, so that we had a plan for our weekly walks. So far we’ve done the Nene Way (Northants section and as far as Whittlesey), the Jurassic Way, and the Rutland Way.

In theory, we walk once a week, but there are long gaps for various reasons. We started the Leicestershire Round in October 2012, completed two ten-mile sections, then stopped for about three months.

Update – May 2013:   We’ve now walked as far as Rearsby, and have been lucky enough to have had good weather so far.

Update July 2013. We completed it!  October 2012 until July 2013 – it’s taken a while.
